Elena Delle Donne has made the All-Star team in each of her first two seasons in the WNBA, and through the first few games of the 2015 campaign, it looks like she’ll be making her way back to the mid-season showcase.

Which will be in the same building she played in last night, as the Chicago Sky traveled to Connecticut to take on the Sun. If last night’s performance is any indication, Delle Donne might be a good bet to take home the All-Star Game MVP Award, because she looks extremely comfortable in the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Playing 36 minutes, Delle Donne scorched the Sun for 27 points on 10-20 shooting. Whether it was knocking down jumpers, finishing in the lane off the dribble, or making moves in the post, Delle Donne was a one woman wrecking crew last night. They weren’t easy shots either. The Sun made her work, but Delle Donne was just too good last night.

It turned out not to be enough, however, as the Sun got two free throws from Alyssa Thomas with just a second remaining to secure a 67-65 victory.

Delle Donne and the Sky will next be in action on Sunday when they travel to Indiana to take on the Fever.
