Alex Rodriguez reached another milestone in his career on Saturday night

Alex Rodriguez has been having himself a masterful year thus far in his return season of 2015, and things got a lot better on Saturday night against the Baltimore Orioles.

On this night, Rodriguez not only hit home run No. 666, but he also collected RBI’s No. 2,000 and 2,001, pushing him further into the annals of baseball history.

Coming into 2015, after missing an entire year in 2014, no one really knew what to expect from Rodriguez. However, as we’re quickly finding out, he’s using this season to try and further cement his legacy. As we’ve learned, though, not many people are too accepting of what he’s doing. Nonetheless, though, it’s happening.

Also, with this blast, A-Rod is approaching the 3,000-hit mark. After the bomb on Saturday night, A-Rod how needs only five more hits to join that exclusive club.


Love him or hate him, Alex Rodriguez is slowly making history here in 2015 and there’s still a lot more to go.
