3. Adam Jones-OF-Baltimore Orioles: Jones has faced CC Sabathia quite a bit in their time together in the AL East, and Jones has put up some pretty impressive numbers against New York’s former Ace.  Jones is 18-58 (.310) in his career against Sabathia with four doubles, a triple, four home runs, and 14 RBI.

2. Aaron Hill-3B-Arizona Diamondbacks: In a second NL West matchup on tap for tonight, the D-Backs visit the Giants and take on Ryan Vogelsong. The game actually starts in the afternoon out West but at 7:15 PM ET.  The one bat to consider working into your lineup based on batter vs pitcher numbers from this game is Aaron Hill who is 15-33 (.455) against Vogelsong in his career with four doubles, two homers, and six RBI.

1. Chris Coghlan-OF-Chicago Cubs: Coghlan doesn’t have nearly as long a track record as many of the other names on this list, but he is 9-11 (.818) against Mike Leake which is impressive especially when you consider that five of those nine hits have gone for extra bases.  Coghlan has three doubles and two home runs against Leake in the past, and he’s a nice value play for your lineup tonight.
