Kurt Busch won a shortened race as he took the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan

Oh, what a terrible day of racing it was at Michigan International Speedway. Fans accustomed to high speeds and intense finishes were instead treated to lots of water and caution flags that slowed down any chances of getting the race completed.

However, it was Kurt Busch who came away as the lucky recipient of the win, as he was in first place once the race was halted due to rain. The race was officially called and Busch was was the winner.

For Busch, it was his second win of the season and now he is tied with Kevin Harvick for second-most wins on the season. In fact, it might have been Kevin Harvick with the win if it wasn’t for an ill-timed pit stop and poor weather conditions.

The same goes for young driver Kyle Larson, who was in first before pitting three laps early ahead of the rain. However, Busch once again showed that he has every right to be in the conversation for best driver this season, and on Sunday, he furthered his argument even more.

Now, he picked up the first win for Stewart-Haas Racing at Michigan International Speedway.

With Kurt Busch coming out on top, here is the complete finishing order for the Quicken Loans 400.
