SG/SF. Croatia. Mario Hezonja. 6. player. 67.
The Sacarmento Kings are going to start trying to successfully build around DeMarcus Cousins, something they haven’t had any luck in doing so far. Sure, Darren Collison is a solid point guard, and we have yet to really see what Ben McLemore is really capable of, but drafting a guy like Mario Hezonja could be a good idea.

Many think that other combo guards in the draft are more attractive to NBA teams such as Justise Winslow or Stanley Johnson. But Mario Hezonja has better physical tools and a higher upside. It’s hard to judge how good these foreign guys are going to be, but Hezonja has been on the European pro circuit’s radar since he was 14. He has an unquestionable ability to knock down jump shot after jump shot but also take the ball to the bucket from time to time. Hezonja is a solid choice for No. 6 overall and the Kings shouldn’t pass on the opportunity.
