Cody Rhodes posted a eulogy for his father Dusty Rhodes that will be sure to open up the tear ducts
The professional wrestling world was stunned last week with the passing of one of the greatest legends the business has ever known, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Of course, for the grief that we as fans feel to see this larger-than-life man leave this earth, nothing can compare to the pain his family feels at the sudden passing, especially his two sons, Dustin and Cody.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday to say one final goodbye to the man that helped transcend the wrestling business, and on this day, Cody made sure to say one final goodbye that will probably make you cry over and over again.
Cody posted that on his personal Twitter account, not his Stardust one that WWE owns, and there really aren’t any words to describe what he said here. Cody’s grief right now is off the charts, but he was strong enough to say one final goodbye to the father that he loved so much.
Dusty may indeed have left this earth, but the fact of the matter is that his legacy lives on through Cody in that ring, and there’s no doubt that he couldn’t be prouder of his youngest son.
