The New York Daily News took a pretty stiff shot at Alex Rodriguez over his 3,000th hit on Friday

Friday evening against the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez made some history in his career as he collected his 3,000th hit, a home run off Justin Verlander. Of course, though, for as many people that were happy to see the accomplishment take place, there were equally as many folks that were disgusted by this taking place.

Although, you do have the people as well that are refusing to acknowledge it altogether, such as the New York Daily News.

With the media in New York not being the biggest fans of the slugger, they dropped this headline on Saturday morning that took a pretty stiff jab at the Yankees star.

It’s really no secret that the New York media aren’t the biggest fans of A-Rod, and this is just another example of that being the case. But, the reality is that it happened and it’s going into the record books. That won’t stop the media from taking their shots, but that’s the case nonetheless.
