Top Ten Centers For 2015-2016

It is never too early to start prepping for the next fantasy basketball season. Now that pretty much all aspects of the fantasy basketball season are over I wanted to go ahead and put out an early top ten fantasy basketball list for all five positions. Today we are starting with the top ten centers for the 2015-2016 season.

Center. Utah Jazz. Rudy Gobert. 10. player. 118. There are a lot of things to love about Gobert’s game. He really come on as the season wore on and showed the Jazz that he is one of the better rim protectors in the league. Gobert brings a lot to the table for fantasy purposes and I expect him to have an even more prominent role with the Jazz next season.

125. Al Horford is one of my favorite players in the NBA. I kept expecting him to get better than he was, but I guess with Paul Millsap in town he may not be as good as he has been in the past. He still ranks up there as my #9 center for now though.. Center. Atlanta Hawks. Al Horford. 9. player

Apr 19, 2015; Atlanta, GA, USA; Brooklyn Nets guard Bojan Bogdanovic (44) and center Brook Lopez (11) react after a basket against the Atlanta Hawks during the second half in game one of the first round of the NBA Playoffs at Philips Arena. The Hawks defeated the Nets 99-92. Mandatory Credit: Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Brook Lopez had a nice resurgence during the last month or two of the season. He averaged over 22 points and nine rebounds for the last month of the season. Lopez could opt out this summer and where he lands could affect his fantasy value in a big way for the upcoming season.. Center. Brooklyn Nets. Brook Lopez. 8. player. 147

7. player. 110. Chris Bosh missed most of the past season, but it is hard to not include him in this list. I am not a big fan of Bosh and I am probably a little bit too low, but this is about where I would draft him. I also don’t really have much to say about him because my momma taught me that if I don’t have anything good to say to keep my mouth shut.. Center. Miami Heat. Chris Bosh

170. Al Jefferson has aged just a little bit as a Hornet, but is still a dominant fantasy force in the middle. Jefferson is a nice scorer and does a good job on the glass. His numbers fell off a bit from his career averages last season as he battled through some injuries. For the most part Jefferson toughed it out and played in 65 games.. Center. Charlotte Hornets. Al Jefferson. 6. player

Apr 3, 2015; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic (9) against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center. The Magic defeated Timberwolves 97-84. Mandatory Credit: Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Nikola Vucevic. 5. player. 38. Nikola Vucevic is one of the more under-rated centers in fantasy basketball. Vucevic is getting better still and I may have him even a bit too low here as well. He used to get knocked for missing too many games, but last year he playd in 73 of 82 games. He is certainly a guy who is worth owning in most all fantasy formats.. Center. Orlando Magic

May 17, 2015; Houston, TX, USA; Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan (6) looks up during the fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets in game seven of the second round of the NBA Playoffs at Toyota Center. The Rockets defeated the Clippers 113-100 to win the series 4-3. Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

player. 77. I have never been a huge DeAndre Jordan fan, but he has certainly stepped his game up this past season. I always thought he was a bit over-rated by fantasy players because of his oops and impressive dunks. As much as I like this things they don’t give out extra fantasy points for style. Now however Jordan has improved his game and his fantasy value has improved with it.. Center. Los Angeles Clippers. DeAndre Jordan. 4

May 13, 2015; Oakland, CA, USA; Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol (33) shoots the basketball against Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) during the third quarter in game five of the second round of the NBA Playoffs at Oracle Arena. The Warriors defeated the Grizzlies 98-78. Mandatory Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Marc Gasol. 3. player. 211. I may be a bit high on Gasol here for points leagues, but for you cats guys he is certainly worth this price. I think Gasol will have a little better of a season next year than he did this year. There could be some changes to the Grizzlies roster, but I think that Gasol will remain the centerpiece.. Center. Memphis Grizzlies

Apr 1, 2015; Charlotte, NC, USA; Detroit Pistons forward center Andre Drummond (0) drives to the basket and scores as he is fouled by Charlotte Hornets forward Jason Maxiell (53) during the second half of the game at Time Warner Cable Arena. Hornets won 102-78. Mandatory Credit: Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

player. 64. Andre Drummond is a scary player, and the only thing that is scarier is that I don’t think he is even close to reaching his full potential yet. He just keeps getting better and better. I am really excited to see just how good this big man can get. Once Detroit cleared out Josh Smith, Drummond and Monroe became the beasts that we all expected.. Center. Detroit Pistons. Andre Drummond. 2

April 3, 2015; Sacramento, CA, USA; Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (15) looks on during the fourth quarter against the New Orleans Pelicans at Sleep Train Arena. The Pelicans defeated the Kings 101-95. Mandatory Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

DeMarcus Cousins is comfotably riding at the top of the Center world for fantasy basketball. Cousins only downfall is that there are the occasions where his temper and off-the-court problems can tend to get the best of him. His talent however, is unparalleled in his position. Keep drafting Cousins and take advantage of the situation if someone is scared of his temper problems and add him to your roster.. Center. Sacramento Kings. DeMarcus Cousins. 1. player. 67
