Baseball is fun.

There has been a flurry of high-profile MLB stories over the past week, ranging from positive events like Max Scherzer’s near-perfect game to Alex Rodriguez’s 3,000th hit, to more “checkered” coverage of the latest revelation on the Pete Rose front. Still, the on-field product is in a fantastic place right now, and given how impressive some of the individual performances have been in the early going of the 2015 MLB season, Rob Manfred and company have to feel fantastic about the game’s progress.
