DeMarcus Cousins may have landed a nice cryptic jab at George Karl on Twitter with all the trade rumors looming

As if we didn’t have our assumptions before, over the course of the last 24 hours we’re really beginning to learn that DeMarcus Cousins and Sacramento Kings head coach George Karl aren’t the best of friends, to say the least. As a matter of fact, it’s pretty much starting to become common knowledge that Karl never wanted anything to do with Boogie Cousins in the first place.

Well, Cousins is obviously relishing in the fact that it’s being made public knowledge how Karl really feels about him, and on Thursday he may have taken a nice, subtle jab at the man that doesn’t want him around.

Here, let philosophical DeMarcus Cousins fill you in:

So, basically, the translation here is that Karl has been lobbying to get rid of Cousins for a while now behind closed doors, and everyone is starting to learn about it now. For one of the best players in the NBA, this has to be frustrating, so you can’t blame him for smirking about it just a little bit.

What it all boils down to, though, is that George Karl is absolutely out of his mind for wanting to part ways with Cousins, no matter the price tag. Just late Wednesday night it was rumored that the Kings had discussed a deal with the Lakers that would give them the No. 2 overall pick, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson — but even that seems like not enough to part ways with the man that you can clearly build a franchise around in his prime.

So, you take your shots, Boogie.
