Each and every year the NBA Draft becomes a bigger and bigger event, and this year was no different. Once again we saw some of the best young basketball talent on the planet find out where they will be playing the game at the highest level in the near future.

Of course, as we all expected, the night got started off with the Minnesota Timberwolves selecting center Karl-Anthony Towns out of Kentucky. With the reigning Rookie of the Year in their possession already in Andrew Wiggins doing his work on the perimeter, this team now has a monster presence on the inside to help turn this franchise around in the very near future.

After that pick, the Los Angeles Lakers took D’Angelo Russell, giving Kobe Bryant some help in the backcourt.
