Give it to the fans of the New England Patriots, they refuse to accept that quarterback Tom Brady cheated and are still hoping he will be acquitted of all allegations.
One local country club, specifically the Foxboro Country Club, has taken their support of Tom Brady a step further. They had special flags made that are blue with the number”12″ in silver on each one. The flag also has a fox on it.
They did this to support Brady as he fights his suspension with the NFL through an appeal, which we’re still awaiting the results of.
But seriously, this is a little over the top. First of all, how much did this all cost, though the publicity they’ve gotten through coverage on the blogosphere and the internet will cover all that.
Second, the flag looks more like Detroit Lions colors than those of the Patriots. Did this not occur to anyone when they were making or designing these flags?
I think this Country Club should be boycotted by Patriots fans out of principle.
