Well after all the anticipation and mock drafts, the 2015 NBA Draft took place on Thursday night, and it was certainly an eventful outing this year.
This got started off with the obvious pick of Karl-Anthony Towns by the Minnesota Timberwolves, but then things got rather interesting from there. The Los Angeles Lakers decided to go the way of a guard with the No. 2 overall pick with D’Angelo Russell, surprising some. That left Duke center Jahlil Okafor still there, with many thinking the 76ers could opt to trade out of the spot rather than take another big man. Well, that didn’t happen, and the Sixers now have yet another young big man on the roster.
There were these picks and then so many more interesting ones in the two rounds of the 2015 NBA Draft, and here’s a look at the complete list of selections that took place on Thursday:
