For the second year in a row, Kevin Love is the hottest name on the NBA free agency market. Things are a little different this time around, though. Last year it was people wondering whether or not Love would be headed to the Cavaliers to team with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, and this year it’s wondering whether or not he’ll return to the team after just one season with them.
Well, it seems as if he certainly plans on making that return.
According to Sam Amico of FOX Sports, Love has indeed indicated that he plans on making a return to the Cavaliers next year to make a run at another championship.
It’s widely expected that Love will return to Cleveland next season, seeing as they’re prepared to offer him the most amount of money when all is said and done. One of the questions was whether or not Love would want to return, especially since he struggled at times throughout the season to get on the same page with his power teammates. But as we saw before his injury, he was starting to put it all together towards the end of the year.
Aside from anyone stepping in and offering some serious cash similar to that of the Cavaliers, you can expect Love to be back with LeBron and company in 2015.
