The Golden State Warriors are NBA champs, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to be quiet on the free agent front this summer.

When the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals, they basked in the glory of what that moment meant but the work wasn’t over. Winning one NBA title is great but the journey to becoming a dynasty has only just started. Even though they’re the champs, the Dubs are prepping for free agency the same way other teams are who didn’t win the Finals.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports, the Warriors are looking to add to their jump shooting by adding Spurs free agent sharpshooter Marco Belinelli. The Charlotte Hornets are also going to be pursuing Belinelli to add to their roster.

There is no guarantee that Belinelli will bolt from San Antonio, but if the Spurs are truly making a power play for LaMarcus Aldridge, then shedding players like Boris Diaw and Marco Belinelli is going to be something that mist happen.

Charlotte adding Belinelli would be interesting in that they seem to be going hard for a title run this year after falling back last season. Should they acquire Belinelli, they suddenly become a contender in a very winnable Eastern Conference and they could become a dangerous threat to teams vying for a title in 2015-16.

Either way, Marco Belinelli is going to garner a lot of interest this summer and wherever he lands he’s going to contribute to a contender.
