The most notable name on the NBA free agent market, LaMarcus Aldridge, met with the Los Angeles Lakers recently as the 2015 NBA Free Agency period opens up here. Well, as we found out earlier on Wednesday, Aldridge has decided that he won’t try to become the next great Lakers big man, turning down whatever offer they had on the table.
Now there are a number of things that could have caused Aldridge to turn down the chance at going to Los Angeles for the next few years, and one of them might be that he and Kobe Bryant would not have worked out all that well together on the court.
More LMA: He and Kobe didn't quite gel. It's a little vague, but Aldridge apparently didn't quite get answers from Kobe he was seeking.

Well, I mean, does anyone really ever get the answers that they want from Bryant? Although, in Kobe fashion, he didn’t quite do his part in trying to land himself a big man, speaking to Aldridge for a grand total of…three whopping minutes.
Kobe spoke for about three minutes in the presentation, said he envisioned LaMarcus Aldridge working with him the same way Pau Gasol did.

Man oh man, no matter what as of late you can always count on the Lakers to give you some kind of entertaining story. This is just another chapter in the saga that is the Lakers organization as of late. And once again, Kobe Bryant is right at the forefront.
