Orlando Magic rookie Mario Hezonja threw down a wicked one-handed jam in Summer League on Monday.

While New York Knicks fans in the Barclays Center were still booing the Kristaps Porzingis pick at fourth overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic swooped in to take another talented European player. The Magic’s prize with the fifth overall selection: Mario Hezonja.

It’s only a handful of days into NBA Summer League in Orlando, but Hezonja is showing us the tools that vaulted him into the top of the lottery selections. Exhibit A in that matter is this nasty dunk he threw down on Monday afternoon:

There may still be two more weeks of Summer League ball ahead of us, but I don’t know if we’re going to see a more impressive effort than what Hezonja put down there.

Hezonja’s total effort off of the bench wasn’t as impressive as that dunk, but his abilities as an athlete and scorer on the wing have been evident thus far. With other pieces like Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo, and Aaron Gordon already in Orlando, this Magic team could sneakily be one of the most fun teams to watch in the NBA for the 2015-16 season and for years to come.
