Chandler Parsons didn’t mince any words after finding out that DeAndre Jordan would be staying with the Clippers.

The Dallas Mavericks can’t be pleased about what has happened regarding free agent center DeAndre Jordan on Wednesday right before the NBA‘s moratorium on signings is lifted. From top to bottom, the organization indubitably has to be livid that Jordan is now looking like he’s heading back to the Los Angeles Clippers.

While owner Mark Cuban may be driving around somewhere in Texas trying to find Jordan’s house, other members of the organization are taking a different, more back-handed approach to addressing the situation. For instance, Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons had this to say on Twitter:

As far as sly burns on social media go, that’s a quality effort on the part of Parsons. Parsons also has arguably more of a reason than most within the Dallas organization to be put off by Jordan’s “pump fake.” After all, Parsons’ meetings with Jordan were reportedly one of the things that sold Jordan on coming to the Mavericks.

Not having Jordan on the roster is going to loom large for Dallas next season as they’ve been operating under the assumption that he would be playing for them. If nothing else, though, Parsons and company will have a bit of motivation when they come up against the Clippers at any point next season.
