Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban called out NBA reporter Chris Broussard for his sketch reporting.

Things got a little crazy in NBA Free Agency on Wednesday night. Free agent center DeAndre Jordan had agreed to a deal with the Dallas Mavericks than backed out and called the Los Angeles Clippers to come over and keep him company while he hides from facing Mavericks owner Mark Cuban like a man and breaking the news to him.

Cuban said the Mavericks hadn’t heard from Jordan since Tuesday night, but according to Chris Broussard Cuban was beside himself. Apparently Cuban was in his car driving around begging Jordan’s family to give him the address of DeAndre’s home so he could talk to him and salvage the deal.

It is a ridiculous point on many counts, first it wouldn’t do Cuban a lot of good to be driving around in Dallas when Jordan lives in Houston. It took Broussard nearly an hour but he eventually corrected that detail.

If that doesn’t make you question Broussard’s sources, than consider this. How would he possibly have known what Cuban was doing alone in his car? That is a point Cuban’s brother Brian brought up.

Mark Cuban himself responded to Broussard on Thursday morning, questioning his ethics and challenging his report.

Sounds like Cuban just dropped the mic on Broussard.
