Dez Bryant is letting everyone know that he won’t be on the field for the Cowboys if a deal does not get done
While everyone is excited for the football season to start, Dallas Cowboys fans are a little concerned at the moment. In less than two days, the team has to sign Dez Bryant to a long-term deal or else they might have to prepare for life without him for a bit, reportedly.
Well…you can take that “reportedly” part and throw that right out the window now and put this down as a fact, because Bryant himself has confirmed that he’s ready to sit if he doesn’t get paid.
Early Monday morning reports began to surface that Bryant had contacted Cowboys management and told them that if they couldn’t get a deal done by the July 15 deadline that he would miss not only training camp, but some games in the regular season on top of that. While there were a few reports that downplayed that, Bryant has now confirmed that he’s ready to lay the law down.
As much as I love football...on my beautiful babies.. I apologize #cowboynation but I will not be there if no deal #fact

Now we have quite the interesting situation on our hands. There’s only less than two days to get something done here, and Bryant definitely seems ready to stay home if he doesn’t get his money.
While NBA Free Agency has taken over the sports world over the past week, the NFL and Bryant are ready to take back the headlines.
