This will be Montrezl Harrell’s second appearance on The Friendly Bounce already, and he’s only been in the NBA for, like, a week. The Rockets’ rookie forward did this to Luke Harangody last Sunday, and he was back at it again on Friday afternoon.

The Summer Rockets were taking on the Summer Sixers in each team’s final appearance at the 2015 LVSL, and Harrell wasted no time in promptly ruining JaKarr Sampson’s day. Poor JaKarr Sampson.

Montrezl seems to have a knack for the ruthless, #posterizing putback jam. We saw it against Harangody, and today we see it at Sampson’s expense.

Sampson didn’t exactly take the best route to this rebound, and Harrell made him pay dearly. Can’t be coming in that weak, JaKarr.

A little bit later, Sampson had the ball on the break with a seemingly open layup attempt forthcoming. Once again, JaKarr didn’t see Montrezl comin’.

This one’s awesome. It’s like Harrell didn’t even have to jump, he almost just swatted Sampson’s shot high off the backboard from a near-standing position. Chasedown, off-the-backboard blocks are the best blocks.

For our next highlight, Harrell did the generous thing and decided to ruin someone not named JaKarr Sampson. This time, his victim was Arsalan Kazemi.

This is just getting ridiculous. There’s no way Harrell should be able to catch a pass that high (one handed!) with another human blocking his path to the rim and finish a monstrous dunk all in one motion. But he did, and it was glorious.

But that’s not all! Continuing with the tip-dunk theme, Harrell showed more #want than anyone else in cleaning up this Christian Wood miss.

And, finally, as if we hadn’t seen enough out of him already, Montrezl tried his hand at defending a guard one-on-one. His foe in this instance was Pierre Jackson, who was having a pretty good week himself after signing a contract with Philadelphia. Unfortunately for Jackson, Harrell decided to put a temporary end to Pierre’s good times.

Montrezl Harrell finished the game with 24 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks and all of the dunks.
