The USMNT came out firing on all cylinders against Cuba in the Gold Cup on Saturday, scoring four goals in the first half

The USMNT came into Saturday at the Gold Cup against Cuba just looking to eventually make it to the semifinals. Well, after just one half of play, it might be safe to say that they will indeed meet that goal. Why? Well, because they scored four goals in the first half.

First, it was Clint Dempsey…

Then it was Gyasi Zardes…


Next, Aron Johannsson wanted to get in on things…

And finally, it was Omar Gonzalez getting his share…


So, to summarize here, here’s basically what happened in the first half:

Again, pretty safe to say that the USMNT will be advancing on to the semifinals after they run out of time on Saturday against Cuba.
