Major League Baseball has a full slate of 15 games on tap for this Tuesday night which means a full night of fantasy baseball contests on all the daily fantasy sports sites.  To help you get your lineup together, check out my DraftKings fantasy baseball picks for tonight’s three windows on the following slides.

More from Colorado Rockies

Tonight, there are four games in the turbo time-slot at 8:00 and four games in the late window which gets underway at 9:40. Whether you play all night or in one of those smaller fields, check out my picks listed with a quick explanation below.

Similar picks could be used on any of the many sites that offer daily fantasy baseball, but for the purposes of this post the salaries and roster structure are based on DraftKings typical setup. If you choose to play on FanDuel, Draftster, FantasyAces, or the new Yahoo daily fantasy site, my lineups would be similar with maybe some minor adjustments based on player pricing and scoring differences.

Whatever site you choose to play on, if you have a question about your DFS or season-long fantasy baseball team, you can find me @FansidedFantasy on Twitter throughout the day. I’ll also update you if I have to adjust my lineups based on weather or a team’s starting lineups as the day progresses. If you are looking for more of our fantasy baseball coverage, make sure to drop a bookmark on our fantasy baseball hub.

Let’s get right to my DraftKings fantasy baseball picks for this Tuesday night with my turbo and late-only lineups on the next few slides.

7:05 lineup

SP-Michael Wacha-St. Louis Cardinals: Wacha is surprisingly affordable at 8,700 for tonight as he takes on the light-hitting White Sox.  He did finish the first half on a downer against the Cubs allowing five runs on seven hits in six innings, but overall his 2.93 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 10-3 record show he’s pitched well. Wacha has at least five strikeouts in nine of his last ten starts although only once has he reached double-digit K’s in that timespan.

SP-Nathan Karns-Tampa Bay Rays: Karns is actually a nice value as well if you can look past his horrible last outing against the Royals when he allowed seven runs in six innings before the All Star break.  In his previous five outings, Karns had a 1.78 ERA and was averaging over a strikeout per inning. I expect him to bounce back tonight in a good matchup against the free-swinging Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

C-Kyle Schwarber-Chicago Cubs: The Cubs uber-prospect is still extremely affordable and is expected to back back in the lineup tonight against the Reds.  He is 4-10 since his latest callup, and it’s unusual to find an affordable catcher who hits near the top of the lineup like Schwarber usually does.

1B-Joey Votto-Cincinnati Reds: Votto has picked things up since the break going 7-14 (.500) with two doubles and a homer. He’ll take on Jason Hammel and the Cubs at Great American Ballpark tonight.

2B-D.J. LeMahieu-Colorado Rockies: LeMahieu keeps right on rolling and with the Rockies at home against Matt Harrison and the Rangers there should be plenty of runs scored at Coors Field tonight.  LeMahieu is a scoring 19-51 (.373) in July and even added a stolen base (his eleventh of the season) last night as a bonus for fantasy owners.

3B-Manny Machado-Baltimore Orioles: While a case can be made for LeMahieu’s teammate Nolan Arenado here, I’m going to go with Machado tonight as the O’s visit the Bronx to face Nathan Eovaldi and the Yankees.  Machado is 15-39 (.385) against New York this season and 13-50 (.260) with four home runs so far this month. He has also hit safely in eight of his last nine games.

SS-Troy Tulowitzki-Colorado Rockies: I like a lot of the Rockies tonight, so getting a big bat from the middle of their lineup is a move I think will pay off.  Tulo is 14-44 (.318) this month, but has come off the All Star break going 5-9 (.556) with a pair of homers already in the second half. He has hit safely in nine of his last ten games and has three homers in his last four games.

OF-Mike Trout-Los Angeles Angels: No one is hotter than Trout who is 17-52 (.327) this month with eight homers and 14 RBI.  He homered again yesterday against Boston and continues to bring the lumber every time he can be in your lineup.  He faces Kyle Gibson of the Twins tonight who he is 3-6 against in his career with a home run.

OF-Gerardo Parra-Milwaukee Brewers: I know I’ve used Parra a lot recently, but I’ll stop as soon as the Brewers leadoff hitter cools down. He is 21-50 (.420) this most with four homers, nine RBI, and 13 runs scored.  He’ll take on Danny Salazar of the Indians tonight who is a righty, so expect him to return to the lineup after a rest day on Sunday and an off day yesterday.

OF-Michael Bourn-Cleveland Indians: Much of the reason I can afford all the big bats listed is because I think Bourn is a sneaky cheap play against Matt Garza tonight who he is 10-19 (.526)against in his career. Bourn went 3-6 on Sunday in the Tribe’s win in Cincinnati and is showing signs of life at the plate making him worth a dice-roll at his 2,700 price.
