Madden 16 is gong to come out next month, and the Seattle Seahawks were the recipients of a hilarious troll from the creators of the game.

When the Seattle Seahawks lost Super Bowl XLIX, they immediately went down in NFL history because of it. This wasn’t because the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl, it was how they lost it.

It’s a decision that will endless be debated, as the Seahawks elected to throw the ball on the goal line rather than give the ball to Marshawn Lynch — the obvious choice. As a result of not being Super Bowl champs,

The Seahawks were not happy about Madden 16 denying Marshawn Lynch a ’99 rating’ for trucking ability — something that opened them up to a softball troll.

EA Sports wasn’t about to take that kind of lip from a team who threw the ball in the Super Bowl when they should have run it. In fact, that was the basis for their response, which was trolling gold.

That’s how you take a softball trolling opportunity and hit it all the way out of the park. If only EA made their Madden games as complete as their trolls.
