The National Football League is about to start another season, and hopes are running high in 32 different cities. Whether your team is the New England Patriots or Jacksonville Jaguars, you have likely convinced yourself that this season is about to be the best yet, bringing unabashed glory.

Of course, most fan bases end up devastated by the time Thanksgiving rolls around. Whether it is because of injuries or massive homerism coloring summer glasses, teams usually let their fans down only to build up hope in the following offseason.

So, which fan bases have built themselves up the highest? Well, the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and Patriots all have incredibly high hopes, but they actually have solid reasons. Some of the other franchises … not so much.
