My selections are tailored toward DraftKings scoring system but these picks can also be helpful in H2H formats with daily rosters where some of my recommended players may be available to pick up off the Waiver Wire. Also, a majority of these selections would also be recommended for FanDuel, but you should first understand the differences between each baseball scoring system before plugging players in both.
Here are my best early and late picks for DraftKings lineups in the full schedule of MLB Games on Wednesday, July 29th, with the early slate (6 games) starting at 1:10 pm and evening slate (9 games) starting at 7:05 p.m.

2B Jason Kipnis (CLE) home vs. KC (Guthrie) for $4,700: Kipnis (.326, 9 FPPG) has owned Guthrie in his career, batting .440 (11 for 25) with 2 HR, 9 RBI, and a SB against him. Even though he’s the top salaried 2B, this is a great L/R matchup against a pitcher that has struggled in 2015. Draft Kipnis and expect 15+ FP on Wednesday.
3B Aramis Ramirez (PIT) at MIN (Santana) for $3,600: The newly acquired Pirate has gone 0 of 12 for in his return to his original club, which has been largely blamed on nerves. He is due and that breakout could come tomorrow at hitter friendly Target Field (7th in Park Factor HR) where his power (11 HR in 2015) could come into play at an affordable price.

Xander Bogaerts (BOS) home vs.CWS (Quintana) for $3,500: Bogaerts (.312 BA, 6.8 FPPG) has been decent for the Red Sox this year and has done well recently going 9 for 23 with 4 runs scored in his last 5 games. He has a good chance to put up numbers at Fenway in a righty/lefty face-off with LHP Quintana at a steal of a price.

OF Starlin Marte (PIT) at MIN (Santana) for $4,400: Although Marte (.291, 13 HR, 19 SB) missed Tuesdays game vs. the Twins with illness, make sure to play him today if he’s in the lineup. He has been on a tear, going 12 for 28 on a current 7 game hitting streak. In his only appearance vs. Santana he went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs plus he is playing in favorable batting conditions in the heat of the day at Target Field.
Tips for New Daily Fantasy League Players
OF Michael Brantley (CLE) home vs. KC (Guthrie) for $4,600: Brantley (.298, 7 HR, 55 RBI, .820 OPS, 8.1 FPPG), along with Jason Kipnis is one of the lone bright spots in the Indians offense. The left-handed OF is facing the lefty Guthrie (5.35 ERA, 1.54 WHIP in 2015) whom he has hit .313 (10 for 32 AB) in his career.

Beyond the Flag
OF Chris Colabello (TOR) home vs. PHI (J. Williams) for $3,900. Colabello is currently hitting in the heart of the Jays lineup with his .318 BA and 9 HR/38 RBI in just 62 games. Although he has no history against Jerome Williams (3-7 6.26, 1.66 WHIP), this is a great matchup in a hitters park where the Vegas run line is 9.5.
Tips for New Daily Fantasy League Players
OF Bryce Harper (WAS) at MIA (Koehler) for $5,500: Harper (.330, 27 HR, 64 RBI) is having a monster year and is averaging 10.4 FPPG. Although at a very costly $5,500, he has a very favorable L/R matchup vs. Koehler which he has 4 HR n 18 career AB against.
