With all of the hoopla surrounding Hulk Hogan recently following the revelation that he made some pretty racist comments on his infamous sex tape, a lot of people with some big names are weighing in with their thoughts. However, some peoples’ words carry a little more weight than others, such as those from the man that Hogan faced at WrestleMania 18, The Rock.

The Rock is now on a promotional tour for his HBO show “Ballers,” and when pegged about everything going on with Hogan, the Hollywood star and former WWE Champion had this to say.

"“I was pretty disappointed with what I heard, like all of us, by the way. I’ve known Terry for a lot of years, my dad helped train him in Florida in the ’70s when he was breaking into the business. My uncles helped train him too as well. I have not known the man to be racist.”"

Of course, much like many others, The Rock is pretty disappointed in what he’s heard about the biggest legend in the history of the wrestling business. However, to put things into a little different perspective, The Rock would go on to remind everyone that, at one time or another, we’ve all said something judgmental or hurtful that we regret.

Still, it’s been interesting to hear all of the reactions pouring in with this situation. Hogan, even for some of his previous flaws, was one of the more respected names in the industry. He basically was able to skyrocket wrestling in the mainstream, and this fall from grace like this has been just astounding.

People are coming in with the comments and reactions from all over the place, but when you hear from the man that Hogan put over in the ring in 2002 who has gone on to become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, you pay a little closer attention.
