As can be expected on the NBA’s trip to Africa for the league’s first ever game there, the players and coaches on the trip are having plenty of fun. Thankfully, the power of social media has allowed us to follow along with the journey from our couches via Instagram which has produced some great content over the last few days. So it feels like the perfect time to comb through the NBA Instagram feed to help you catch up on great moments you may have missed.

Pop Time:

Greg Popovich is on the trip coaching for Team Africa and if the pictures we have seen of him tell us anything it is that he doesn’t really care about what happens in the game.

Here is he looking off into the distance with Nicolas Batum and almost kind of smiling which means he is probably about to terrify some poor young player.

Here he is supposedly watching Giannis Antetokounmpo and Festus Ezeli shoot but it looks like he feel asleep with his eyes open because he doesn’t look like he has moved a single muscle at all between the two pictures.

And here he is giving Tim Duncan all the credit for his five titles.

Random Things:

There was plenty of coaching going on by the NBA players.

Here is Gorgui Dieng teaching post play.

And Hakeem Olajuwon doing his thing.

Finally we have Kenneth Faried, Chris Paul and Nikola Vucevic coaching their team to a victory.

Giannis Time:

You really thought I was going to get through this whole post without Giannis being involved?

Here he is with his brothers.

Giannis posing at halfcourt.

Finally, Giannis working out.

Dance Party Time:

There felt like no better way to end this post than a few dance parties.

First we have Bradley Beal.

But nothing from the entire trip beats Dikembe Mutombo dancing.
