We got a first look at Jason Pierre-Paul after he nearly blew his hand off and it doesn’t look pretty

Back on July 4th we got some pretty big news from the NFL world, although it wasn’t all that pleasant. That news being that New York Giants defensive star Jason Pierre-Paul had quite the horrific accident involving some fireworks he was playing around with.

Of course, since the incident we’ve learned that JPP may have actually lost a digit in the accident, thanks to medical reports that were tweeted out by Adam Schefter. However, we have not seen the defensive standout since all of this occurred.

Until now.

On Friday the New York Daily News spotted Pierre-Paul in Florida, and let’s just say that by the way his hand is bandaged up almost a month after all of this took place, things don’t look promising.

Yeah, he basically looks like he has a club on his hand. From the looks of the picture, playing this season is looking might grim.

Again, though, one of the most confusing things out of all this is that he was set to maybe sign himself a new deal coming up with the Giants. Had he not made this boneheaded mistake, he could be waiting to get paid.

Now, we’re just wondering what exactly is wrong with that hand.
