The Los Angeles Lakers are a mess of a franchise who can’t even use Twitter right anymore.

When Lakers fans were begging the Buss family to give Phil Jackson the keys to the franchise, they didn’t mean the keys to the franchise’s Twitter account.

In what can only be described as the most Lakers tweet ever, given their recently poor history, the team grossly misspelled a very simple word when trying to promote ‘Lakers Night’ at Dodgers Stadium this month.

Just read it out loud, nice and slow.

In case you somehow missed that, the Tweet was supposed to say ‘Shirt’ and not what it ended up saying. Although, if we’re being technical, it still works and is the edgiest thing the Lakers have done in years.

Here’s what they meant to tweet:

Not only are the Lakers a mess on the court, but they can’t even use social media right anymore. Maybe it’s because they have an old philosophy — who knows.

All we can venture to guess is someone, somewhere, is cursing autocorrect like they never have before.

If you’re interested, the shirt promotion is still scheduled to happen, and is probably going to garner more attention now that it’s forever associated with this hilarious autocorrect oversight.
