PG. There haven’t been many outstanding point guards in the history of the Clippers, which is why it was so exciting when they acquired Chris Paul. He is best remembered for being a journeyman of sorts on teams like the Bulls and Lakers, but his time spent with the Clippers was still valuable. Having him in the same backcourt as Chris Paul could be deadly for defenses to try and defend against, and his wisdom — even early in his career — is as valuable as his production on the court.. SF. A two-time All-Star, Danny Manning nearly averaged 20ppg and was a force down low when it came to collecting rebounds. He wasn’t a top-notch rebounder, but he was a solid defender on the wing and is a piece that CP3 has been missing on his current teams in Los Angeles.. Small Forward. Los Angeles Clippers. He may have played during a massive lull in the Clippers franchise history, but that didn’t stop Brand from being an absolute stud for the team and racking up stats that still look impressive today.. Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, eat your hearts out. Both men have played center for the Clippers and neither are as talented as Bob McAdoo was in his day with the Clipps. Jordan is the latest hope for the Clippers, but he can take a page or two out of McAdoo’s book if he truly wants to be the next great big man for Los Angeles.. Center. Los Angeles Clippers.
