Dodgers’ Alex Wood pitches the ball nowhere near the plate (Video)

Alex Wood was not having a good night, so much so that one of his pitches went nowhere near home plate
With 162 games in a regular season, baseball players are bound to have some off nights here and there. Not every night out are you going to be on your best performance, which is something that they all accept. But then you just have something downright terrible happen to you, something that Dodgers pitches Alex Wood found out on Tuesday night.
And this moment was really, really bad.
The Dodgers are taking on the Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday night, and at one point with Wood on the mound, he pretty much forgot how to pitch.
Woods went into his usual wind up and he was certainly looking to put the ball near the plate. Instead, what happened was the ball went pretty much in the opposite direction of where it was supposed to go.
Yeah, there are some bad nights for players, and then there’s what took place here. There are few things worse that Woods could have asked to happen to him other than this right here.
