Out of nowhere, the Toronto Raptors unveiled a new logo (with several color iterations!) back in December, as you can see here. We heard for a while that new uniforms were on the way, as well, and the team officially released those with an announcement Monday evening.

You can take a gander at their four new kits right here.

Not bad! They remind me a bit of the Bucks’ new duds, with the block lettering and such. These really aren’t super different from the ones they’ve worn for the last couple of seasons, though I think overall they’ve improved. The shorts, in particular, are fire.

The away alternate is the most random of the bunch, with the incorporation of gold, though I don’t hate it, either. They’ve apparently done away completely with the old basketball-playin’ raptor logo, opting instead for the clawed basketball thing. That’s kind of a shame, because I’m all about animals inexplicably being able to play sports. Miss you, Hugo.

Considering I expected the new Raps unis to just have a big picture of Drake’s face on the front, I suppose this is a pleasant surprise in the end.
