In the third quarter of the 2015 NFL Hall of Fame Game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings, we had a 7-3 Vikings lead. The game has been like every other preseason game ever witnessed. There are a ton of impact players sitting on the sidelines, a bunch of mediocre guys making plays, and a litany of ridiculous judgments being made.

One of those judgements comes from ESPN commentator Skip Bayless, who consistently provides America with some of the most, um, interesting opinions around. Here’s Mr. Hot Take giving his latest hot take:

What the heck is Bayless looking at? The Steelers did not play Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, Heath Miller or Antonio Brown. Throughout the first 35 minutes of the game, they have mustered three points. As for the young players flashing all over the field, the only guy making noticeable plays who has any chance to get on the field is Dri Archer, who has 35 offensive yards. Pittsburgh only has one sack, courtesy of something called Ethan Hemer.

When the Steelers had their starting defense on the field against Minnesota’s first-team offense, the Vikings drove without any problems into the red zone before turning the ball over on downs. Bayless must be watching a completely different game than the rest of us, because neither of these teams have impressed at all.

The storyline of this game is going to be the play of Vikings rookie cornerback Trae Waynes, who has committed three penalties and looks atrocious. The kid is likely going to have a good career after being taken with the 11th-overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but Twitter folks are calling for his retirement. Good times.
