FanDuel Picks For August 13
Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.
NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.
Here are my FanDuel picks for August 13:
Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options
Pitcher Options:
Trevor Bauer, Indians ($8,400): Trevor Bauer has been pretty nice option lately. He has been right around 12-14 fantasy points per game over his last three contests. In my eyes he is one of the safer, better priced options available for the 7:05 games on the 13th. If you are looking for reasonably priced and safe, then Bauer is your man.
Nathan Eovaldi, Yankees ($7,400): Eovaldi has been pitching okay lately. He is another decent priced option as I did not like any of the pitchers going tomorrow as a gambler type of pick. Basically I prefer Bauer over Eovaldi, but if you are crafty and put the $1,000 you save to good use on offense then you could come out a bit ahead.
Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options
Infield Hitter Options:
Ian Desmond, Nationals ($3,600): Ian Desmond is a pretty solid option on a small game slate day. With just five games on the table for us, Desmond presents a pretty solid opportunity to notch some decent fantasy points. He is swinging the bat well and has a decent career mark against Ryan Vogelsong. In 12 at-bats he has four hits with one of those going for a home run and six RBI.
Neil Walker, Pirates ($2,900): Walker has been a bit up and down this season, but overall is still swinging the bat pretty well right now. He has had some nice success against Cardinals’ pitcher Lance Lynn with a .351 average in 37 at-bats, three home runs and ten RBI.
Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options
Outfield Hitter Options:
Starling Marte, Pirates ($3,000): ****Warning: Marte exited the game Wednesday the 11th with hand discomfort**** You will want to be able to make sure that Marte is going to play, but if he is, he will be a great option. His bat is not smoldering hot, but he has a pretty solid career mark against Lance Lynn. In 21 at-bats he has a .381 average with a stolen base. I would expect decent numbers at a bargain price with the limited slate of games.
Gregor Blanco, Giants ($2,300): At a mere $2,300 Blanco comes in as a decent gamble for daily fantasy leagues. He is not playing great, but should be good for two to three fantasy points. His career mark against Stephen Strasburg is actually pretty decent at 4/15 with a .267 average and a home run. At this price it will also allow you to stack some more big named offensive bats.
As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
