169.
Not everyone got the 90s era logo and uniform changes right, but the Houston Rockets did. In an era where over-the-top cartoonish logos were a big hit, the Rockets fully embraced it with their attempt at space-age uniforms.

There’s a very metallic look to the uniforms, which is supposed to be a representation of what a rocket is. But what really pulls this all together are the hallway pinstripes. There’s just something cool about the fade in the middle that doesn’t cut over the Rockets logo, opting to flow through it instead.

They’re not the most iconic uniforms of all-time, but this a perfect example of how out-there and creative teams were willing to get in the 90s when it came to making uniforms that were cool and campy all at the same time. It’s like an old B-movie from the 70s that you know isn’t The Godfather but can’t help but appreciate it for what it is anyways.
. Home. 1995-2003. Houston Rockets. 18. player
