Tim Tebow did some Tim Tebow things again
By Mike Dyce
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow is up to his old ways in his preseason debut and return to the NFL.
The Philadelphia Eagles decided to give quarterback Tim Tebow a chance in the NFL again though some say he was brought in strictly to be a quarterback arm. His preseason debut with his new team got off to a good start, he completed four of five passes and even handled a bad snap to get off a quick bubble screen.
But you knew bad Tim Tebow was coming, it was only a matter of time until the Tim Tebow we’re all so familiar with came back to form. Early in the fourth quarter Tebow was scrambling out of the pocket and he had a Colts defender in hot pursuit and another downfield cutting off the angle.
Instead of trying to salvage the play for a minimal loss, Tebow decided to reverse the field only to run into more defenders. He ended up taking about a 15-yard loss on a third-and-5 play.
Yeah, that is the opposite direction you’re supposed to travel. It is hard to imagine Tebow makes the roster with plays like that.
