If you plan on lording over your fantasy football league this year, keep an eye on these 10 rookies who could prove to be the difference between winning the title and missing the playoffs.

The start to the NFL season is almost here, which means that while we count down the days, hours and minutes until our favorite teams kick off the season, it’s also time to focus on fantasy football and prepare for the drafts this month.

Whether you’re in a dynasty, PPR (points-per-reception) or seasonal league, you can put yourself in position to win it all by identifying which rookies are the ones to draft and the ones to avoid.

You already know about the top two picks in the NFL Draft, quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota, and you know you aren’t going to rely on a rookie signal-caller to lead you to the fantasy Super Bowl. However, rookie running backs and wide receivers can do that. Look no further than those who drafted Odell Beckham Jr. or Jeremy Hill last year.

This year’s rookie group of receivers may not be as special as last year’s crop that featured Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans and Kelvin Benjamin (in addition to Beckham), but the 2015 group of rookie running backs – headlined by Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon – is the best we’ve seen in years.

For the purposes of this article, first-round picks, such as Winston, Mariota, Gurley, Gordon, Amari Cooper, Kevin White and DeVante Parker won’t be featured. This is all about the sleepers you can gobble up while your league mates stare in awe.
