It’s SummerSlam weekend, and this year things are getting a little more important for one of the biggest events of the year. No, that’s not just because the show has been pushed to four hours, rather it’s the action that we will see on Saturday night with WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.
Yes, this year before we get to the biggest event of the summer, we’re getting another live Takeover special and we’re getting it outside the confines of Full Sail University for the first time. WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn will emanate from the same arena as SummerSlam, the Barclays Center. And for those that were worried they would not be able to run such a large venue, they have sold out all 13,000 seats for this awesome event.
Of course, everything is headlined with the battle for the WWE NXT Championship. Finn Balor will defend his belt against Kevin Owens in a ladder match, which should not disappoint us in anyway. We’ve seen what these two can do together and this time around should be no different.
