Full video highlights from the huge rematch between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker

The rematch that WWE fans everywhere had been clamoring for lived up to the hype. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker at WWE SummerSlam was a hard-hitting affair full of major drama that only two of the best performers in the company could put on.

Lesnar started the fight before the bell, but the two spent much of the early going jockeying for control of the match. There were several trips to Suplex City, as well as many throwback moves from The Phenom such as an Apron Leg Drop and Snake Eyes. The crowd was hot for those moments, but reached it’s boiling point when Lesnar put Taker through the French announce table with an F-5.

The root of the story in this match comes down to the controversy at the end. Lesnar had the Kimura Lock on Taker and it appeared that The Deadman was tapping out. However, the ref didn’t see it and didn’t call for the bell, but still the bell sounded.

While the ref was sorting this out, Taker hit Lesnar with a low-blow and then locked in Hell’s Gate. Lesnar fought valiantly to try and withstand the submission, even giving Taker the finger while in Hell’s Gate. He ultimately succumbed to it, though, passing out. Your winner of this enormous rematch: The Undertaker, with an asterisk.
