FanDuel Picks For August 27

[related category]

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for August 27:

  • 6 players to avoid at your Fantasy Football draftNFL Mocks
  • Daniel Murphy, Mets ($4,200): Murphy is playing pretty well right now and he is one of the hotter middle infielders in all of baseball. Murphy will be one of the better options for the 27th and has a solid matchup against Aaron Harang going 9/26 with a home run and five RBI. Get him active in your lineups for the 27th.

Ian Desmond, Nationals ($3,400): Desmond is not the hottest player in the league right now, but I still believe he will be a great option. He has a pretty decent price tag and although it is only ten games a pretty solid record against Andrew Cashner going 3/10 with an RBI. He will be a pretty decent bet to score three to four fantasy points.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Aug 26, 2015; Philadelphia, PA, USA; New York Mets left fielder Michael Cuddyer (23) hits an RBI double during the first inning against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Mandatory Credit: Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Juan Lagares, Mets ($2,700): Lagares is not exactly the best options available for the 27th, but he has been playing well enough to be a good option for us. With his price tag that makes him an even better option. He has had a few seven point fantasy games which is encouraging for his fantasy prospects. He also has a solid record against Harang going 3/12 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base.

Michael Cuddyer, Mets ($2,800): Cuddyer despite being a Met as well I believe will be a good option for us on the 27th. Not that I have a problem with Mets, but sometimes I don’t like using too many players from the same team. Cuddyer, just like Lagares has solid record against Harang having gone 4/13 with an RBI.

Aug 25, 2015; Phoenix, AZ, USA; St. Louis Cardinals right fielder Jason Heyward (22) reacts after scoring a run against the Arizona Diamondbacks during the sixth inning at Chase Field. Mandatory Credit: Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

    Bonus Hitter Options:

    Catcher:

Kurt Suzuki, Twins ($2,400): Suzuki is a decently priced option in a fairly slim pool of catchers for the 7:05 slate of games on the 27th. He has had some solid games recently and should be a safe option for the 27th. Go ahead and get him active in your lineups.

Jason Heyward, Cardinals ($3,800): Heyward has been pretty hot the last few games for the Cardinals. He has no record against Rubby De La Rosa, but I believe he will be a pretty good option for the 27th with such a short slate fo games to choose from. Heyward has been good and so has De La Rosa, but I still like his prospects.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
