It appears that Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore is blending in with his new team, and has nothing but praise for his new quarterback Andrew Luck.

As the Indianapolis Colts chase a Super Bowl and finally getting over the hump in the AFC with Andrew Luck, they have added several veteran pieces as they continue their pursuit of a championship.

One of those veteran pieces, Frank Gore, is already falling in love with his new team. After spending his entire career with the San Francisco 49ers, Gore, a free agent in the offseason, finally moved on elsewhere and joined the Colts in hopes that he wins a Super Bowl before he retires.

After OTA’s, training camp and a couple of preseason games, Frank Gore is already gushing about one of the league’s star quarterbacks. In fact, Gore believes that Andrew Luck is some form of a football deity.

In an interview with NFL.com’s Chris Wesseling, Gore had the highest of praise for Luck.

"“He runs meetings like a coach. Basically, I’m playing with a coordinator on the field,” Gore told The Jim Rome Show on Wednesday. “He’s a football God. He sees everything. He sees the big picture of everything. … He lets me know when [there’s] something I don’t see. He’s just different. How he’s in the huddle, off the field, in the meetings, he runs it. He runs the show, even in the off-season, he ran it. One day he had running backs, the next day he has receivers. He’s just different. He’s a football God.”"

Calling your quarterback great is par for the course for most players in the NFL. Calling your quarterback “a football god?” That’s a new one, and certainly one that will spark discussion.

There’s no denying the greatness of Luck thus far and the talented career that he has put together so quickly. However, he has yet to put the hardware on the shelf and his team has fallen to the New England Patriots in each of the last two postseasons.

With each passing season, it seems like Luck takes that next step as a quarterback, and entering his fourth season, he’s ready to add that first Super Bowl to his resume. The road to a Super Bowl isn’t easy, and with motivated veterans like Gore and Andre Johnson added alongside him, the Colts will have their chance when January rolls around.

One thing is clear though, Luck has the support and belief of Frank Gore and the rest of his Indianapolis Colts teammates. He might not be “a football god,” but Andrew Luck is a damn good quarterback.
