Bills, Steelers fight in wild preseason game
The Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers met on Saturday afternoon at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Week 3 of the NFL preseason. The game doesn’t have much importance other than Buffalo’s quarterback competition. Yet, the game is less than a quarter old and things have become unglued.

Midway through the first quarter, Buffalo linebacker Nigel Bradham and Pittsburgh running back Le’Veon Bell locked up in the Pittsburgh backfield, leading to the following brawl:
Between the whistles, there have been some serious highlights. Unless you care for defense, then forget about it. Michael Vick came in for Pittsburgh after Ben Reothlisberger started and played two series, and the newly-acquired backup quarterback let fly immediately.
These types of big plays for the Steelers is terrific news, because the defense can’t stop a high school team. Buffalo had EJ Manuel starting, and Manuel – who is not exactly Joe Montana – went 2-for-2 for 83 yards including a 67-yard touchdown to tight end Charles Clay. Throughout 10 minutes, Buffalo has 133 yards of total offense. That might be a problem for Pittsburgh.
Then there have been some injuries. The Bills watched as cornerback Stephon Gilmore left the field to be evaluated for a concussion. Additionally, safety Aaron Williams gingerly walked off the field with an apparent leg/ankle injury. Losing either would be a big blow to the Bills.
UPDATE: Williams has returned to the field, per multiple reports.
