As the month of August winds to a close, Major League Baseball soaks in some of the final rays of summer with a busy Saturday schedule today as all 30 MLB teams are scheduled to play at some point today. There are three games on this afternoon’s schedule in New York, Toronto, and San Francisco with the other 12 games scheduled to take place under the lights tonight. Whether you’re playing early-only, late-only, or all-day daily competitions or looking for a boost for your season-long team, there are some batter vs pitcher matchups that stand out that you can take advantage of as you set up your lineup. You can find my top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups on the following slides.

More from Cincinnati Reds

Each morning of the regular season, I post my top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups right here on Fansided.  I do my best to highlight the hitters with the best history against their scheduled opponent for the day to help you find the best matchups to attack.  A hitter’s history against the opposing pitcher is one of the key factors to consider as you put together your lineup whatever fantasy baseball format you’re playing. To help you fill as many roster spots as possible, I try to include a variety of teams and positions as well as a good blend of sleepers and stars in my top ten each day.  Today, I have every position represented in the top 10 and a solid variety of big-names and value considerations.

To keep up with all of Fansided’s fantasy baseball coverage, drop a bookmark at our fantasy baseball hub. If you have any questions about our coverage in general or specifically about your lineup for today, you can find me @FansidedFantasy on Twitter where I’ll be happy to help you out any way that I can.

If you are new to the daily league fantasy baseball league format, one option to consider is FanDuel where you can find daily competitions for each day of the MLB season. You can get there by clicking the link in the box above or the link at the end of the post. FanDuel is just one of the many sites you can play daily fantasy baseball on, and each format varies a bit based on scoring and roster structure.
