Odell Beckham Jr. almost pulled in another one-handed grab on Saturday
Last season, New York Giants wide receiver really burst onto the scene when he made that amazing one-handed grab during a Sunday night game against the Dallas Cowboys. We had seen flashes of his potential greatness before that, but that play really solidified the former LSU star as a future force to be reckoned with in this league.
Well, on Saturday night as the Giants take on the New York Jets, the second-year superstar nearly pulled it off once again.
Beckham was flying down the sideline against none other than Darrelle Revis when he pulled the ball in with one hand. Unfortunately, though, this time around the play wouldn’t count.
OK, yes, the play didn’t count. But, that still doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s absolutely amazing how this young man makes it looks so darn easy. He makes it look easy not only in warmups when he puts on his shows, but when there’s actual game action going on. A human being should not be able to do that.
This is just another reminder that Beckham is going to be so, so, so, so much fun to watch in the years to come as long as he can stay healthy.
