This Mexico player made one of the best catches that we’ve seen this year in the Little League World Series

Sadly, the Little League World Series for 2015 is coming to a close on Sunday, and the festivities got underway with the third-place game between Mexico and Texas. Both teams lost in rather heartbreaking fashion on Saturday, but they still get the chance to play at least one more game.

With the title game out of reach, you might expect that these players would let up a little bit, not having the biggest prize to play for. Well, one of the Mexican fielders showed on Saturday that this is certainly not the case. They’re still going to go all out for that win.

In the top of the third inning, the Texas player at the plate hit a ball into foul territory, a ball that the fielder could have just let drop if he felt like it. But, that wasn’t the case. Instead, he took one final shot at glory in the tournament and snagged the ball for the out with this amazing over-the-shoulder catch.

Now that’s one way to make sure that your Little League World Series experience is more than memorable. That was an awesome display of concentration by that young man, and you never know, that could end up being a pivotal play in this one.
