FanDuel fantasy baseball tips: Top 15 batter vs pitcher matchups-9/1
Major League Baseball starts the final full month of the regular season with much to still be decided before the playoffs start in early October. There’s also plenty of time to still claim some fantasy baseball glory starting tonight with 15 games on the schedule. The MLB action of the day actually starts this afternoon with Game One of a double-header between the Rockies and Diamondbacks, but most of the daily league focus is on the 15 games under the lights tonight. For the purposes of this post, those 15 games will be the focus as we examine the top 15 batter vs pitcher matchups to attack tonight.

Usually I highlight the top 10, but today’s matchups included so many great options that I felt the need to expand the list to include the top 15. In each day’s post, we focus on hitters who have the best past records against the the probable pitcher they are scheduled to face. While it isn’t a guarantee of success, a hitter’s history against the opposing pitcher is one of the key factors to consider as you put together your lineup for whatever fantasy baseball format you decide to play.
To help you fill as many roster slots as possible, I try to include a variety of teams and positions as well as a good blend of sleepers and stars in my top ten each day. Today, every position has at least one representative in the top 15, and there are several exceptional matchups for some of the best hitters in the game.
