The latest in the saga of the Phoenix Suns and Markieff Morris has Morris telling everyone his future won’t be in Phoenix.

Markieff Morris is taking his talents to Twitter again to voice his displeasure with the Phoenix Suns.

Ever since the Suns dumped Markieff’s brother Marcus in a salary move to the Detroit Pistons, Markieff has virtually cut off all ties with the Suns and is doing anything he can, whether professional or childish, to force his way out of town.

After a report surfaced earlier today that the Suns weren’t going to give into Markieff’s trade demands, Morris took to Twitter to reassure everyone that he wasn’t going to be a member of the Phoenix Suns this season.

It’s a natural strategic maneuver by Morris as he tries to work his way out of town. A report comes out saying the Suns are digging their heels in, so he comes out on Twitter and does the same thing. He has a right to understandably be mad that he wasn’t given a heads up that his brother was being traded, but that’s about the extent of his rights.

Whether it’s his ongoing court case for felony assault, the nice tab of technical fouls he has run up in his career, his disrespect for the Suns coaching staff or calling out players on other teams for not having heart, Morris really hasn’t been the upstanding personality and face of the franchise to request such a move.

Add in his four-year contract that goes into effect this year and the Suns really have no reason to trade him unless they feel he is going to be a toxic presence. Right now his trade value probably isn’t too high as he continues to shoot it further down with his actions, which in result is going to make it less likely that Phoenix moves him soon.

It’s now become an entertaining game of who’s going to flinch soon, the Phoenix Suns or Markieff Morris. Whatever the case may be, Morris wants your attention because he is very upset.
