Heath Evans has hot take about Seahawks (VIDEO)
Heath Evans of NFL Network believes the Seattle Seahawks are in legitimate trouble if strong safety Kam Chancellor either stays away from the team via holdout or gets traded. Chancellor, who has a contract paying him $6 million per year through 2017, is looking to have a reworked contract and has not shown up to camp, nor does he plan to play this season.

Evans spoke on NFL Total Access about the situation, and had this to say:
Wow. Look, Chancellor is a heck of a player both against the run and in pass coverage. Chancellor is arguably the best safety in the league right now, versatile and powerful. Without him, the Seahawks would be losing a major player.
Still, the third-best team in the NFC West? Moving behind Bruce Arians and the Arizona Cardinals does not seem like an insane stretch, although the Seahawks would still be picked by most. But the St. Louis Rams are now better? That would be a massive shocker.
The only team Evans sees Seattle beating out are the San Francisco 49ers, who lost lost Patrick Willis, Chris Borland, Aldon Smith, Mike Iupati, Anthony Davis, Michael Crabtree, Frank Gore and Justin Smith.
There is not a shot in the world that St. Louis is better than Seattle. The Seahawks are still going to win double-digit games because the rest of the defense is still very talented and the offense has Marshawn Lynch, Jimmy Graham and Russell Wilson.
