Kristaps Porzingis executes fine dunk

Knicks rookie/socks connoisseur Kristaps Porzingis isn’t playing for Latvia at the ongoing Eurobasket tournament (though the roster does include another guy named Kristaps as well as two different dudes named Kaspars), but that doesn’t mean he’s not still doing basketball things. In fact, he posted a video to Twitter on Tuesday that included a nifty little dunk. Let’s take a look:

I mean, Porzingis probably isn’t winning any dunk contests any time soon (or ever), but we also know that jams tend to look less impressive when performed by seven-footers. This is a fine slam. As for what he said prior to executing said dunk, a quick Google translate tells us it was something along the lines of “My golden hands shot! Good luck team championship goes on!”

So there ya go. Also, I couldn’t help but notice the amazing background on Porzingis’ Twitter page. Is Michael Jordan wearing a leather blazer? And look at those huge pants! Not that they’re shoes or anything, MJ, but…WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOSE?!?
